Adrian Carr - composer/pianist/storyteller

In 2022, I'm releasing my Zen-Chill album, The Golden Hour, which was inspired by my daily bike rides to see the sunset during the pandemic lockdown. I used a vintage 88-key vintage Fender Rhodes to provide one of the key textures of the album. However, the albums uses many instruments and textures to provide an organic listening experience. The album is linked and walks through the many complex hallways of emotion we all experienced during the pandemic.

I was born in Buffalo, New York, and moved to New York City to attend The Juilliard School and went on to complete my Masters at Princeton University. I lived in New York City and the Hudson River Valley for more than half my life before moving north to open up a CD Mastering Facility in Montreal. I now live in the Adirondack mountains and use the mountains and the people here for my inspiration. The pictures of The Golden Hour are all from a peninsula on Lake Champlain known as Cumberland Head.
